Yesterday, National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) stated that an mRNA vaccine (Moderna, Pfizer) is the preferred choice of vaccine for those who received a first dose of AstraZeneca.

If you got an Astra Zeneca Vaccine at our clinic – you can now get AZ or Moderna at the 2nd dose clinics organized by primary care.

A couple of weeks ago, we contacted patients we vaccinated (age 60-65 on March 24) to offer you an appointment to get a 2nd dose of Astra Zeneca at a clinic being run by primary care providers.

These clinics (for patients we vaccinated) will now offer a dose of Moderna vaccine as a second dose if that is your choice and AstraZeneca will still be available as second dose if that is still your choice.

You will be able to have a discussion regarding your choice of vaccine with our vaccinators when you come toy the clinic.

We encourage you to keep your booked appointment.
