Peterborough is one of six regions to get a small amount of Astra Zeneca vaccine for people in the 60-64 year old age group.

The Ministry of Health is doing a very small “pilot” project with primary care providers in Peterborough, including the 360 NPLC.

We will not receive enough vaccine for all our patients aged 60-64. We will be able to offer vaccines to our patients aged 63 & 64.

If you are this age, we will be contacting you and need to connect with you as soon as possible to secure your vaccination spot.

Beyond this pilot, we have no information on when or whether we will get any more vaccine for our patients (so please do not call our office about COVID vaccines).

Please check the Peterborough Public Health website for the most updated vaccine information locally: https://www.peterboroughpublichealth.ca/novel-coronavirus-covid-19/covid-19-vaccine-info/ including when your group can expect to have access to vaccine.

Individual 80+ are now eligible for vaccination in the community. This website details options: https://www.prhc.on.ca/about-us/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/getting-the-covid-19-vaccine/

What we have been told is that if this small pilot project goes well, Peterborough will receive many more doses of vaccine – which is great news!
