What We Do: We are a dynamic, community-based interdisciplinary primary health care clinic providing comprehensive primary health care services to individuals and families residing in Peterborough City and County who are seeking accessible primary care providers.
The 360° Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic is committed to providing access to innovative, integrated health care services and programs delivered collaboratively with a focus on health equity and patient centeredness. Located in the downtown core of Peterborough, we have expertise in the provision of care to people whose health is made vulnerable by poverty, homelessness and poor access to the social determinants of health. We operate from a harm reduction philosophy and are committed to working from within an anti-oppression and anti-racist philosophical framework that is trauma-informed and which values cultural humility and inclusiveness.
As a Nurse-Practitioner-Led Clinic, we aspire to have Nurse Practitioners on our governance Board. However, Directors serve in a meaningful way to support the NPLC’s strategic mission, vision and goals, and by so doing provide a united leadership profile to the community. They serve as ambassadors for the clinic’s work and provide their expertise, experiences and networks to maximize the positive profile of the organization.
At this time, we are especially looking for Nurse Practitioners and interested community members who:
- Reflect the diversity of the patients we serve, including people from Indigenous or other racialized communities or who identify as LGBTQ2S+ and/or
- Have legal expertise and/or
- Are interested in health care and understand the effects of social determinants on health
Board member terms are two years in length, beginning January 2022.
